1 Information We Collect from Drivers
When you register as a driver partner, we collect personal information including your full name, national ID, driver's license number, vehicle registration details, phone number, email address, profile photo, and bank account information for payment purposes. We also collect your real-time GPS location during active trips to enable ride matching and navigation.
2 How We Use Driver Information
We use your information to verify your identity and eligibility to drive, process payments and earnings, match you with ride requests, provide navigation support, calculate performance metrics and ratings, communicate service updates, and comply with legal and regulatory requirements. Your data is never sold to third parties.
3 Location Data & Trip Recording
We collect your precise GPS location data while the driver app is active. During trips, location data is shared with passengers to enable real-time tracking. Trip routes, durations, and distances are recorded for billing accuracy, dispute resolution, and safety purposes. Location data collection stops when you go offline in the app.
4 Background Checks & Document Verification
For passenger safety, we conduct identity verification and document checks before approving your driver account. This may include reviewing your driver's license, vehicle registration, national ID, and criminal background records through authorized government or third-party verification providers. All verification data is handled with strict confidentiality.
5 Sharing Driver Data
We share your first name, photo, vehicle details, and real-time location with passengers during active trips. Earnings and payment data is shared with payment processors and relevant financial authorities as required by law. We do not share your personal contact details (such as phone number or email) directly with passengers.
6 Driver Ratings & Performance Data
Passengers may rate and review their trips with you. These ratings and feedback are used to maintain service quality, determine account standing, and may affect your eligibility to continue as a driver partner. You can view your aggregate rating in the driver app. Individual passenger reviews are anonymous to protect both parties.
7 Data Retention & Deletion
We retain your driver account data for the duration of your partnership with us and for a period thereafter as required by applicable law. Trip history and financial records are kept for tax and legal compliance purposes. You may request account deletion by contacting our support team; however, certain data may be retained where legally required.
8 Your Rights as a Driver
You have the right to access, correct, or update your personal information through the driver app or by contacting support. You may request a copy of the data we hold about you. You also have the right to object to certain data processing activities. To exercise any of these rights, please reach out to our driver support team and we will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.
